The chairs were purchased by the original owner in 1987.
The gray lacquered metal frame has signs of age and wear, and partial color defects. The seat cushion was reupholstered and reupholstered with an exclusive fabric from Hermès.
Amarrage co. M04 cobalt
The legendary “Chaîne d’Ancre” motif is playfully repeated in a regular sequence of chain links and strives for the abstract. The strong, dynamic graphic style, whose effect on the printed cotton sateen is further enhanced by the bold colors, allows the object to fade into the background.
Composition 100% cotton
from 2011 to October 2020, Dedar was a partner of Hermès in the production and distribution of its upholstery fabric collections. Hermès upholstery fabrics have not been available in stores for years.
All chairs are marked and numbered on the underside by the manufacturer (Cassina).
The chairs are an absolute eye-catcher and cannot be found in this combination twice.
