Vintage Design
The “Icarus” Hallstand was designed by B.R.A.N.D. Gruppe in 1983.
In 1983, three self-taught designers, all of whom had experience with metal as a material, joined forces, creating the B.R.A.N.D group in Vienna.
Boris Brochardt, Mathis Esterhazy (leaves the group at the beginning of 1986) and Rudolf Weber started producing handcrafted items in metal, where the manufacturing process consciously focused on the uniqueness of each workpiece.
