Vintage Design
A stunning marble top coffee table designed by Estelle and Erwin Laverne for Laverne International, USA 1950s. The table has a solid 3 cm thick bullnose marble top with inset chrome plated steel legs. The tubular chrome legs are secured to the underside by a steel sub-frame. The top is a beautifully veined white and grey Carrara marble. Chrome discs top each leg in the marble table top. The marble table top has been professionally cleaned and polished. There is minor discolouration due to oxidation around the metal chrome discs on the tabletop. The chrome legs are bright and in good condition.
The weight and presence of the marble is impressive – a statement piece in any room. A classic mid-century table to complement a variety of styles and decor.
