Vintage Design
Restored bookcase designed by Silvio Cavatorta in the 1950s. This freestanding wall cabinet is a true embodiment of mid-century sophistication.
The cabinet is built with three black lacquered tubular iron uprights with conical terminals and brass feet. It boasts a large cabinet with two hinged doors, 4 briar drawers, 2 open shelves with a suspended screen.
The black lacquered uprights contrast with the wood and the shiny ocher briar with shellac, while original details in patinated brass embellish the handles.
