Italian modern brown leather and black metal Irma chairs by Achille Castiglioni for Zanotta, 1970s. Set composed of four Irma model chairs, in brown leather tending toward red and black painted steel. The shaped backrest covered in leather has a black metal tubular structure, while the shaped seat, also covered in brown leather, is supported by an X-shaped structure in black metal. The black metal legs have a round section. Produced by Zanotta in approx. 1970. and designed by Achille Castiglioni. Good condition, some marks but the leather is well preserved. Measurements in cm 40x45x91h 47h seat A fine set of chairs, of excellent workmanship and made with very good materials by one of the greatest designers of our era, Achille Castiglioni, who together with the Italian company Zanotta has created several masterpieces. One of these is precisely this set of chairs, with a classic style, which immediately takes us back to the seventies and eighties, but with great class!
