A very fine pair antique Indian Bidri Ware vases of teardrop shape with linear and floral petal designs in silver overlay probably dating from the late 19th century. The vases stands raised on a rounded pedestal foot with a tear drop shaped body, narrowing neck with a wide flat rounded collar applied with small petal designs. The bodies are applied with a pattern of fine broken vertical lines set between floral/petal bands each with a slightly flared top with similar patterning. The designs are applied in silver against a heavy gun metal grey base metal. The vases are not marked.
