This unique vintage handicraft made by tailored artisans, is likely to never to be created again. This brilliant coral colored raw silk woven into a fine satin weave and embellished with hand-hooked embroidery known as “Ari work” from the Rajasthan state in India. Historically known since the 14th century for producing some of the finest fabrics in the world, sought after by the Royal Mugals who’s pieces today are on display at the Victoria and Albert museum in London. This piece commissioned by a European design house is richly adorned in classic Indian paisley and floral design, in colors of Celadon, Magenta, Sapphire Blue, Saffron and Lilac.
