Nandi the cow represents divine bliss, joy, pleasure, cheerful, jovial, delightful, auspicious, and can also be destructive. Together they bring love, and divine bliss to us. Gopala (meaning cowherd) is the child Krishna, the cow is seen as the symbol of the Earth. it gives and gives selflessly, and asks very little in return. The cow lives gently and gracefully, yet with strength and dignity. A wonderful vintage statue.
