A table with octagonal top over an octagonal base with arched apron and lower surrounding stretcher, having elaborate, profuse and sophisticated brass inlay decoration including central eight point star and surrounding multipoint geometric flowers with sinuous vines and and leaves. Masterful craftsmanship. Great color and surface. Designed with detachable top and foldable base to enable the table to be carried to one’s various estates. Anglo-Indian, circa 1900.
