Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this heavily carved Indonesian export circa 1940-1950 small two over one chest of drawers ideally suited as a tv stand or side table

This chest of drawers is just about as lovely a piece of export furniture as you will ever see, the carving is exquisite, the timber inside has a grain to die for, it is simply amazing

I have personally owned this piece for around 20 years, it has been in maybe six homes in that time, used as a tv stand, toy chest and last of all in the hallway for keys and dog walking accessories like leads etc, it really has been a part of our life for a long time and it will be sad to see it move on but alas we no longer have space for it

We have deep cleaned the piece from top to bottom, there are good honest age and use patina marks all over, some losses, some old repairs, the piece functions perfectly and shows its age
