A sweet antique (late 1800s or early 1900s) Anglo-Indian teak petite armoire cupboard with mirror. A hand carved curvilinear crown, oversized paw feet, and overall small scale give this piece such unique flair. Campaign brass pulls accent the drawers and a drop pull hangs from the door. Original locks are marked Calcutta. A storage area in the top, behind the mirrored door, with one shelf and three drawers below offer a nice amount of storage. Perfect in an entryway or hall. The original mirror has discolorations and the wood has remnants of old brown paint, see photos, but this adds to the charm and antique look of this piece.
Top interior space measures 23″high x 20″wide x 13.5″deep
Bottom interior space measures 16.75″high x 20″wide x 13.5″deep
Condition commensurate with age and use. Drawers work well and cabinet door latches closed. Strong and stable. Paint remnants on the wood and discolorations on the mirror, see photos. Random scratches and scrapes in the wood. Note the bent areas on the campaign brass pull on the bottom drawer, see last photo.
