This is a stunning antique French Louis Revival ormolu mounted walnut and marquetry inlaid display cabinet, circa 1920 in date. The cabinet features a shaped top and has impressive and ornate ormolu mounts. The body is rectangular shaped with a glazed ormolu mounted door with glazes sides and features three fantastic floral marquetry panels. The interior is lined with the rich original violet velvet fabric which beautifully compliments the cabinet. Complete with the original working lock and key. Condition: In excellent condition. As antique items, the pieces show signs of use commensurate with age, these minor condition issues are mentioned for accuracy and, as seen in the accompanying photographs, they display beautifully. These types of cabinets are made from recycled fishing boats from Indonesia, so each item has its own story and unique features. This offers space for a total of 9 bottles. You can be sure that you are getting an authentic piece. The wine cabinet is made of recycled teak wood, sourced from houses and boats in Indonesia. This wood is collected after the demolition of old buildings and boats and reused for furniture. The recycled wood regains its original color by sanding. Due to the lived-in character of the wood, each product looks different. A characteristic of recycled wood is that products have a sturdier finish and appearance than new teak wood.

Made of steel and glass that is clamped in the steel by a rubber strip. The cabinet is from the 1970s and was produced in Hungary. The cabinet has been stripped to the metal and finished with a transparent lacquer. The cabinet comes with 5 glass (adjustable) shelves.

An original vintage Telephone Table by Nathan. Very rare model with slide out message tray to the top right and a lower storage shelf. There is a pull-out drawer and storage cupboard to the left.
This is in good vintage condition with just the possibility of the odd scratch or blemish commensurate with age, but nothing noteworthy. The message tray has lost some of its outline but is such a fun retro touch that we have opted to leave as it is rather than removing. Should you wish to remove it all (leaving a plain white tray) I suspect that a light scrubbing with an abrasive cleaner such as Cif will do the job.
This piece is slightly lower in height than much of the Nathan furniture in the Squares range. It would make a fabulous bedside unit, with the message tray becoming a useful breakfast ledge for lazy weekends. It would also work well in a hallway or landing.

The condition is good with the possibility of the odd scratch or blemish commensurate with age and love. Please study the images for an honest representation of the condition.
