A magnificent pair of faux bamboo mahogany armchairs with leather and cowhide zebra print fabric. The chairs are accented with brass finials and rawhide detail. These chairs would work well in any traditional or contemporary setting with just a touch of vibrancy. The chairs are structurally sound and in very good condition. Ready to place! Some patina differences in the skin and color tone but overall it is not distracting.

Large and exquisite pair of Inlaid Throne chairs. A pair of ornate ebonized chairs with mother of pearl inlay decoration and black leather-style upholstered seat base.

Condition: There are various signs of age and use including losses to the inlay visible in the photos, chips and repairs that do not detract from the fantastic presentation. Mother of pearl pieces missing in several places. One chair’s right arm is loose and will eventually need restabilizing. See images as they are part of the condition report.

What can I say, these have to be the most decorative chairs I have ever seen. They are a wonderful conversation piece, hand carved from solid slabs of hard wood, imagine what the cost would be to commission these in todays market! It would have to be the low tens of thousands

We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they are in the 100% original unaltered condition, they have a wonderful period patina throughout
