A two-part rosewood Anglo Indian campaign chest. Each section fitted with recessed brass handles on each side and protective brass corner mounts. Each drawer front with two recessed pulls. The base supported by turned rosewood legs. This piece is constructed with solid rosewood specified for use in tropical climates. Circa 1880.
