Monumental 19th Century Indian Building Facade

During the apex of the British Raj in India and Burma, trade flourished, cities expanded and many great fortunes were made. Each fortune manifested itself in a mansion or palace. Today, many of these mansions still exist, some sprawling across several acres of grounds. In India’s densely populated cities, old or obsolete low-rise structures are increasingly being replaced by high-rise towers with modern air-conditioning and other amenities. When old buildings are taken down they are not demolished; meticulously disassembled, the parts numbered and shipped all over the world. The doors and door frames are the most commonly found, internationally. This full facade (with two more upper floors available) is an extraordinary find. Detailed assembly instructions are included.
