A 19th c., American Empire mahogany bench with outward scrolling arms raised on carved winged legs terminating in paw feet. The seat and sides have been newly upholstered in a striking white linen fabric printed with a flowing blue ribbon design.
This bench would work will in a number of locations; as a stylish hall bench, at the end of a beautiful canopy bed, as a window bench, in a glamorous dressing room or bathroom and a myriad of other places. Not only is it versatile but it is also comfortable.

Good, upholstery very clean, nice color to wood finish, scattered nicks, scratches, hairlines to wood, small veneer loss on one arm (see photographs). Shows well. Ready to place.
